Quinnipiac, Northwestern and Vermont set to charter this spring
March 20, 2018 - Delta Upsilon is proud to announce its Quinnipiac, Northwestern and Vermont colonies are set to charter this spring. The Installation Ceremony for Quinnipiac will be held Sunday, April 22. Northwestern's Reinstallation Ceremony is scheduled for May 6.
Delta Upsilon started expansion efforts at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, in spring 2013. The Fraternity has not had a chapter on campus before, so when the chapter is installed, it will become DU's 160th chapter. The Installation Ceremony will be held April 22, 2018, in the Echlin Center, Room 101 on campus. The ceremony and Rite II of Initiation will begin at 3 p.m. A reception will follow.
To RSVP to Quinnipiac's Installation, email Coloy President Daniel Bok.
The Vermont Chapter is one of Delta Upsilon's oldest chapters and was first installed in 1850. Delta Upsilon returned to campus in fall 2014. The Reinstallation Ceremony will be held April 29, 2018, at 5 p.m. in the John Dewey Lounge in Old Mill.
The Northwestern Chapter was first installed Oct. 27, 1880, as the Fraternity's 25th chapter. After the chapter closed in 2013, recolonization efforts began on the Evanston, Illinois campus in spring 2016. The Reinstallation Ceremony will be held May 6, 2018, at 5 p.m. at the Alice Millar Chapel.
To RSVP to Northwestern's Reinstallation, email Colony President Jacob Beran.
